From the perspective of the Earth that we live on, we are no more important than a grape vine, nor have the longevity of a stone. Yet, because of our love and awe of nature, we can plant a vineyard in a barren land, build a winery, and make a good bottle of wine.
In 2012, Fei Tswei Winery began its journey.
Our Naissance: solid as a rock, unchanging like an emerald
Feitswei (a type of emerald jade) symbolizes a kind of tolerance, embraced by an aura of harmony between heaven and earth. Emerald is a precious stone that represents the essence of spirituality in the mountains and rivers. Jade culture enjoys a long history in China, and the emerald is a dazzling part of that heritage. The family has a long tradition of collecting stones, which has imparted a subtle yet profound influence on the family and their corporate ethos. It is a greater sense of humility and self-awareness, which lies at the heart of Feitswei Winery’s core values.
The winery's logo is inspired by an emerald dragon carving in the family collection. It has been stylised to become a friendlier dragon, and forms the core element of the winery’s branding.
Our principles: venerate the land, cherish the land, give back to the land
In 2012 our winery began construction in the heartland of the Helan Mountain’s eastern belt. True to our core principles, we adhered to high standards, long term planning and innovation, with the aim to showcase the strength and potential of Chinese winegrowing internationally.
Feitswei Winery takes inspiration from Chinese culture, combined with artisanal approach to viticulture and winemaking, and guided by the spirit of exploration and innovation, to create China’s premium estate winery on the most rock-solid of foundations.
